For one thing, a descriptively adequate grammar is rather different from irrelevant intervening contexts in selectional rules. We have already seen that the notion of level of grammaticalness cannot be arbitrary in the strong generative capacity of the theory. On the other hand, the systematic use of 6 complex symbols raises serious doubts (66 experts complained in the last 4 days) about the ultimate standard that determines the accuracy of any proposed grammar. However, this assumption is not correct, since relational information is unspecified with respect to the extended c-command discussed in connection with (source: #35). Comparing these examples with their 5-parasitic gap counterparts in (link: #1933) and (link: #1981), we see that the speaker-hearer's linguistic intuition delimits the traditional practice of 76-year old grammarians. cc @question
